down the hill

I thought I'd throw this out there...I'm on the downhill slope with my schooling. It's finally starting to sink in that I:
- am in my last semester of classroom/classes
- can tell people I'm graduating soon
- I have an internship lined up
- I have bought my last text book
- I have applied for graduation
- have only gone through some....6 major changes and 2 emphasis changes
( for the record it went from photography, illustration, international studies, german, printmaking, PARKS RECREATION & TOURISM - rec therapy and now COMMUNITY RECREATION

I wouldn't suggest this route to anyone, but because I have done it, I have accrued so many skills and experience with languages, design, all art media possible, recreation, business, marketing, program design, adaptive recreation, facility management, entrepreneurial business etc. etc. etc.

Looking back over the last six-seven years (I graduated high school in 05) that it has taken me to this point I have realized how much I have been involved in. I experienced a really cool art program, lived abroad, learned how to use photoshop & illustrator, photographed brides, met the love of my life, worked hard for a scholarship, learned how to cook & grocery shop, exercised a lot, made new friends in my court, run races, worked on numerous stories, served for 3+ years in primary, gotten back into piano, started my own newsletter, begun to learn the Organ (pedals/keyboard/buttons..), mastered the perfect pizza, volunteered over 100 hours in the name of service and school, performed in front of the ward with primary, and managed to keep an apt pretty clean and organized!!!!

I wouldn't say that the last years have been a waste in a way. I am just glad that I am nearing a finish line with a piece of paper in view. Go me:D I'm pretty proud of myself. I'm even cooking a roast for the first time in MY LIFE.

This post spells F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S. Congratulations to the cutest, most educated in a well rounded nature-soon-to-be-U of U Alumni! I am so proud of you. Need a cap and gown? I've got one you can borrow.

I want to hear about the internship. And I want your pizza recipe. It looked and smelled amazing when we came over that one time!
