etsy shop

Mossandmittens is officially open! I am so excited - and I don't even care if I don't make a lot of money. It is something I have always wanted to do - sell my artistic wares. Now hopefully things will go smoothly and I should have a few new items up every month. I plan to include needle felted items, soft toys, artwork and more! Praying for no glitches and success with shipping. my shop

july

My aunt made this fabulous Tink costume for her granddaughter last Halloween. I was DYING to have Al model in in because I was sure she wouldn't fit into it come Halloween this year. I'm sure we will have many more 'Tink' Halloweens to come. I want my chance at making my own version. I love this one though. The knitted hat was to be the iconic blonde poof Tink has. Ah I love it. So precious.
On the 24th of July we went up to Albian Basin. Bless my sister's sweet persuasion skills in getting us up there because the guard station was forcing people to use their shuttle. This is by far my favorite place in Utah - I am planning on going back up there soon to get some beautiful panaramic pictures to blow up and/or paint for our home. Ah I love this view. It is as close as I can get to a Sound Of Music hilltop moment in Utah.

Alice/Tulips

We went to the Tulip Festival with hopes of at least one cute picture of Peter and his crazy hair. Well you can see the efforts - he's learned how to avoid the camera just to spite me....the turkey. Also some more of Alice's part 2 photo shoot. We love her - now to get her going to bed before midnight would be nice.

Welcome Welcome

First official photoshoot done really early in the morning - will do part two once the warmer sunlight comes in. Pete was so sad to not be involved - he'd make a great photo assistant some day.

Alice

I'm loving this girl - and the changes she makes to complete our family right now. LOVE LOVE LOVE her.

Last before Alice

Top picture was at daybreak - last picture of momma's belly! The little girl in the picture below is Pete's friend Riley. They are really fun to watch together. She is pretty much the only social life he has under the age of 3 right now. I'm loving Pete's crazy curly hair and I hope I don't have to really chop it off any time soon.

I was advised to always plan some fun things in the last remaining days of pregnancy to help the time go by faster. We made it out to the lake in Daybreak for a little jaunt - fun enough it was our last family outing before the little girl came. It is pretty fun having the water so close by - we miss the east side mountains and canyons. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Peter grow and develop. I love watching him explore and get excited by new things. He is still definitely a momma's boy but he loves his daddy just as much. I love these two boys and I'm excited to even out the hormone levels in our house. Bring on the pinK!

2015

P is starting to get a head full of curls. :D Most days it turns into a fro but I love it. He's also taken to carrying around a special toy most of the day - hence the elephant helping with dishes :D So funny for me to watch. Playground time is happening and is getting to be more fun now that he is a really good climber/walker. Last pic thanks to grandma for an awesome vest that we will get a lot of use out of during the colder months. A little over five weeks to go for me and baby number 2. Thanks to P for being such a trooper and adapting well to my backseat energy...thank you hubbie for being the crazy guy who gets our boy squeeling.
