here come the bride...and groom:D

Photoshoot of the weekend: went beautifully despite the fact that our time was puny. We are talking 20-25 minutes short, but hey it worked. Here are the best of the group. My friend and I had scouted out a sweet location on our way to another friend's concert and have since shot here twice. Car is courtesy  of the SLC antique car museum, which I have yet to visit. Anyone interested drop me a line and we'll go. Or rather, I'm going this weekend if anyone wants to join me just give me a call. My favorite pic has to be the last one. I really love the elongated photos that almost seem panoramic. The fabulous dress (cir late 70's) belonged to the groom's mom and it fit this bride PERFECTLY. The things that go well in shoots never cease to amaze me.

Feb.

Frustration. I just posted on a highschool blog instead of this one and had to delete it. I must be tired.

Quick summary of what I had meant to write on in this one. I went hiking last weekend and was thrilled at what I saw. Here are a few shots I took. It's only at moments like these that I love the winter.  I'm excited to see what I can get in the next few weekends as the weather changes for the worse and for the better.

Good news, and reasons for not posting yet. I have finished my first portfolio/website and I published it today. Minus the technical difficulties I'm really quite pleased and I can now safely navigate people to what i'm 'working' on in that lovely art department at the U. The painting section is lacking but never fear, things can always get better. . I'm starting my own comic strip which I will be posting in this blog or on my site. I haven't decided which yet.  I have had more ideas for this than my other ones so we'll see how long I can keep it going. It's hard to find a main character for this one because the story line just follows alot of spoofs and stereotypes that go along with a certain part of our religious culture...and perhaps nationwide/westernwide? I'll post when it's up.

I wish out 100 lovely wednsdays, one of course reserved for myself.

peace out
