yeah MOM!

My mother is amazing....she finished her 60th marathon this weekend up in Logan. We surprised her at the end with a bunch of familiar and unexpected faces. Here's to you momma! We're so proud of you:D

project....

This will be the third week of school and already I have been thrown into various printmaking techniques with my Letterpress, Lithography, and Intaglio classes. This week's homework was to make a collage that we will be printing copies from. They look just like scanned copies but the process to get them through ink/water resist is crazy!! Here is the photoshopped copy of my plate.

Thank you Disneyland, Riley and Lauren:D

collection

This week has been busy. Actually the last two weeks have been pretty packed and here are some of the results. Annie, you're gorgeous! Engagements for some chums, and of course the ultimate fam pics (minus Pache:( ).

night life

I'm getting addicted to night shots and tripods with long exposures.  I had no idea we'd even get this first shot, kind of a surprise since you can see the other pics are pitch black (as was the evening). Thank you onlookers for not walking in front of the camera! I love smart people. Oh the photo shoot ideas I have from this experiment.

steam please

Here's what you do when you get stuck in a rainstorm downtown with a skirt, heels, umbrella and some steam. Convenient? I thought so.

N.B.C!

Here is phase 1 of my Nightmare Before Christmas pics. A friend from work let me use her collection of N.B.C. collectables to shoot. Despite the completely vivid, and crazy colors of the buildings I was feeling a bit B/W this week. Next up...some sweet photoshopping skills...

weddings.

The big day has come and gone. Successful yes.

To Mrs. Andrea White, one of my fav buddies from IDFL days, congrats...YOU'RE MARRIED! It's for classic moments like these that I do what I do.

Not a worry on her face, yes:D
The humor in the moment that is always needed after so many pre-wedding raw nerves.
Pleasant parents that only added to the serenity of the day.
Girls always have one more smile for a picture...can't really say the same for all guys;)
Two great peeps:D
Oh yeah, this marriage is gonna last....living proof.
Hi-fives to the happy couple!

I like seeing everyone enjoying themselves...and kudos to the men..that was right after being summoned for the 50+ photo.
From left to right (all IDFL-ers)t:  photography help, long time chum, & kitchen/catering help geniuses x2
It just has to all be in the presentation of the food and help (Andrea made the bulk of the food served!! Amazing).
First walk not surrounded by loads of people....congrats Paul and Andrea!
My FAV guy, personal bag-watcher & stress reliever !!! Thanks Darren!
