My Favorite Things : As told by Baby Wednesday to Kylee

Fav people : Mommy and Daddy

Fav way to wear shoes :  half on/half off
Fav flowers:   dead roses

Fav expression : Whoa

Fav book: Boris & Bella (it's about a cleanfreak dude and scuzzy chick who throw parties but can't get along until.....)

Fav Prop: the cigar inside the pumpkin...too bad Kylee kept making weird noises so I would get distracted

Fav trick:  becoming invisible

Fav Place To Be : in between Mommy and Daddy

Here are some more photos from my Octoberfest, Kylee style.  I have to say one of my favorite photos is the overexposed one of Morticia and Wednesday. There definitely is a plus to having whiter skin...it disappears!

My friends who posed for the Adamms family pictures had such an awsome look! They even brought some additional hair for baby Wednesday that was just hilarious.  It doesn't matter who is involved or what we are doing, my shoots always crack me up.  Baby Jade (Wednesday) was such a sport and who'd have guessed a kid could be so entertained by a cigar prop?  I might add that I very rarely shoot guys. Most of them don't jump at the chance to pose which I find kind of surprising. Waylon (Gomez) did a perfect job of taking it seriously.  Lizzie (Morticia), all I can say is wow. You worked the wig. It was perfect.

three little ghosts.....

I had this crazy idea for a Halloween series of shoots this month in order to arm myself with loads of material to p.s. (photoshop).   Here are a few photos from the first in the series. I had a lot of fun messing around with my computer and with my dear chums who are ALWAYS more than happy to participate. Round of applause goes out to you guys....Happy Halloween

a hundred and one pounds of fun....

I am feeling pretty good this week. That hundred plus pounds of fun equals about 400 cookies curtousy of Albertsons break/bake cookie selection and two ovens. I was called to be on the Mingle committee for my singles ward. Yeah for once a month responcibilities. Of course, if you look carefully back towards that last statement....I should emphasize the word COMMITTEE. As of yesterday that equals two people (not including my mother who so diligently put cookies in and out of our oven while I was using a neighbor's). If the situation does not improve by next month, I'm switching wards and ridding myself of this title.

My choice of cookie baking was in attempts at subtly humbling myself. In my efforts to override the horrible things I said to a friend concerning my abilities to agree to these *'callings' I decided to work extra hard this month. I also didn't want store bought cookies because they aren't as good. Yes, mothers always jump in and I'm sure it was not the most choice thing to take up her time..thank you mommy. It could have been better...could have been a lot worse. I am forcing myself to stay up in order to finish baking the last bag (of 20). SO you get a blog entry and lots of updates from the meep meep life of Kylee.

* I HAVE A NIECE..WAHOO! I'm thrilled beyond all words for this. Her name is Vivienne and I love her already.

* My bro Pache, is on a mission and doing so well. Our communication has upped with email and I feel only great things are in store for him. I'm not even counting down the months.

* Fall break for the U students is this coming week and I can't say enough how much of a relief it is. I guess I was so excited for this week to end that I planned 4 photo shoots in one day and cookies to bake on top of that. So much for a rebound from painful midterms on Thursday. Adding to my productivity, lots of photos were taken and I'm determined to see an outpouring of improvement within my photoshop skills. Sorry you will only get one photo today.

* I'm working on a website!!! It's kind of a test run to see how well I like keeping it up, how easy it is to update and use. I'll post the domain name as soon as I publish it. Oh that's a lot to do.

* It snowed today. I listened to a version of 'Dashing Through The Snow' then repeated it numerous times so I could sing along at the top of my lungs in an opera-like sound. Ha you guys all missed out on that one.

*I left a little over a year ago for China. Time flies. Gotta love China and the FABulous people there.

* I laughed a lot today. I think it cured my ill spirit from the week.

I'm singin' in the rain.....

Ok, the order of these photos is a little odd, but the effect is still there.

During church one week (gasp....a good note from a singles ward:S) our teacher made a reference on how many lists there are in the church. He suggested that the church make a list of all the lists and put it into a book.....I like lists, not that they are always worth remembering but the 'matter of fact' you get with one statement can be hilarious.

So.....for all of you potential models out there, here is one for you:

Stuff you encounter with Ky on a shoot:

1. fighting machines that wear skirts....

2. tires large enough to sleep in
3.  different ways to frame yourself
4.  the sunny side to standing between rotting iron frames

5.  the true power of some serious females
6.  the ability to pull of clashing colors
7.  the point of an umbrella is purely artistic...not protective
8. people float
9.  most water goes straight up instead of out
10. roosters protect houses

11. you become the fascination of the locals
13. you stay the fascination of the locals
13. then you begin to wonder what the locals see in you......

As promised, they are in B/W, not color....hehehe. Thanks Nikkee!!  I LOVE them!

A 'green'halgh Saturday....

Hello...long time no see. I'm officially never making it a goal to blog a certain amount of times a week. It is far to stressful and just not possible unless it's during a break from school.

I am very aware that there is still only ONE painting amidst my many posts...but have faith my good readers and more will pop up soon.

My latest adventure.......one of my dearest chums   introduced my work to her bro and his fiance. Hence the engagement like photos. I picked a few I really liked. I must say I was so proud of my models because they braved the heights to give me a spectacular shot.

Kudus to Andrea and Paul , you know who you are. They were my trusty helpers who risked their lives to keep people out of the background and the couple in the most artistic positions possible while I was on one side of the building and they were in another.  Gracias!
