and the battle begins....

Ha, so I found these funny micro-playmobils at Red Balloon today. (Can you tell what errands I ran today?). I don't normally buy toys for myself but I couldn't resist. They are even magnetic so when they get bumped NO ONE falls over.  It got me into a medieval thinking mode today. Another sweet inspiration moment.

Of course the dragon had to try and take over the castle, and since that is what Dragons  do so well...he won! You can't blame the poor magnetic horsemen. They didn't have a chance with being melted to their horses backs........

The 'little' kids had a 'Men In Black' moment after regrouping their teams.

S.P.Ss.

I am claiming my Saturdays as S.P.Ss. (self portrait saturdays). My goal is to come up with a different self portrait every week.

This is my ponytail. I think I haven't been able to pull my hair back for a little over a year.....Yeah for long hair:D We'll see how long I last with out chopping it all off again.  I will have you notice that it IS without a doubt, not copper anymore. Amazing, I know.

So tragically the whole 'blogspot' thing didn't work out so well while I was gone. The site was only accessable through a third party site and even then I couldn't add any posts through it....I am going to make a better effort to post more about the artistic 'happenings' that come out of the pink/ikea room I have so long been perfecting. (Thank you Ikea having space saving furniture and cool things for me to utilize for my pens/pencils/paintbrushes/lighting....and everything else in between).

I said goodbye to Beijing yesterday (whose yesterday I'm not really sure...the time difference is so major).  I can't even tell you how much The plane rides home were delayed, but went by pretty fast.  I'm glad to not have a 10+ flight booked in my agenda any time soon, I might be depressed for days about it. I'm also going to back track and post some of my favorite photos from my travels, so keep a look out for them.  When I finally got home I was seriously on a happy high to see unbelievably pure/blue skies. Yeah for my motherland.

Anyhow, I felt like having some serious spouts of green today. It is by far my favorite color and my lucky charm for life. Not saying I will be going green any time soon....These are some of my goodbye Green Beijing photos. Beijing should claim pink, grey and red as its colors. There are cherry blossoms all over, grey building ever few feets and red signs on every building. I like green. Tootle pip!
